About This Meeting

General elections for local officials in B.C., including trustees for Islands Trust, take place every four years. The next general voting day is Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Islands Trust trustees are elected in each of the 12 local trust areas, and two municipal trustees are elected for the Bowen Island Municipal Council. Being an elected trustee provides a unique opportunity to apply your experience and ideas to help preserve and protect the Islands Trust Area and its unique amenities and environment for the benefit of the residents of the Islands Trust Area and British Columbia.
