Gabriola Island Local Trust Area is located 6 km east of Nanaimo, BC and has a 2011 census population of 4045. The Gabriola Island Advisory Planning Commission will be meeting on Thursday, August 17th, to consider a referral from the Local Trust Committee regarding the Housing Options Review Project. More detail can be found here.

Gabriola Island Trustees will be taking a break from office hours during the summer months.

Trustees are available to meet in person with residents and property owners - drop in with your questions, comments or just to say hi. Trustee Mamoser and O’Sullivan alternate office hours each Monday morning 10 am – 11 am at the Islands Trust northern office 700 North Road.
