The area includes over 20 other islands such as Mudge, DeCourcy, Entrance and the Flat Top Islands. Gabriola's beautiful and vibrant islands are home to some of the rarest ecosystems in British Columbia. February 2020 | Gabriola Island Advisory Planning Commission Meeting
The Gabriola Island Advisory Planning Commission will hold a meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Commons Large Meeting Room Upstairs, 675 North Road, Gabriola Island, BC. The APC will discuss proposed Bylaw Nos. 304 & 305 and provide recommendations to the Local Trust Committee on any potential amendments that may need to be considered, regarding Bylaw Amendment Application GB-RZ-2019.1 (BC Ferries Corporation). More information may be found in the meeting agenda. Members of the public are welcome to attend as observers.

On June 14, 2018, the Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee adopted Bylaws 292 (OCP) and 293 (LUB) after two years community consultation on Phase 1 of the Housing Options Review Project. More information about this project is available here.
