UPDATE:  The LTC adopted Bylaws 113 and 114 on October 3, 2017, amending the Official Community Plan and adopting a new Land Use Bylaw and completing this project -  to undertake a comprehensive review and update of the Land Use Bylaw. The key changes to the Land Use Bylaw are summarized in this FAQ.  For information on past initiatives and for building and development guides click here

Please Note: the following is correspondence received prior to the publication of the notice of public hearing.  Submissions received after, and in response to, the notice of public hearing are distributed to the South Pender Island Local Trust Committee and placed in the public hearing binder, available for review at the offices of the Islands Trust or at the public hearing itself.

Upon receipt correspondence will be reviewed and should be posted within 7 business days.
