This meeting will:

• Help you understand who plays what role in providing affordable and accessible housing for Mayne Island
• Explain steps in Mayne Islands Housing Action Plan (HAP)
• Identify how Mayne Island’s HAP relates to the Capital Regional District’s Southern Gulf Islands Housing Strategy Provide examples of different approaches to providing affordable housing (i.e. Habitat for Humanity; Mayne Island Housing Society project; the Teachery)
• Provide an opportunity for property owners to learn how they may be able to donate land to support affordable housing
