CANCELLED MEETING:
June 24, 2022 SPILTC Regular Meeting & Public Hearings for Bylaw Nos. 122 & 123 is CANCELLED and is to be rescheduled.
The South Pender Island Local Trust Committee passed the following resolution: “That in consideration of the spread of COVID 19 on the Penders, the recommendations of the Pender Islands Recreational and Agricultural Hall Association concerning the use of the Community Hall, and concerns expressed by community members, the South Pender Island Local Trust Committee cancel the Public Hearing and Regular Meeting scheduled for June 24th on bylaws 122 and 123, and that the hearing be rescheduled for a later date.”
The information regarding the rescheduling of the regular meeting and public hearings will be posted on community notice boards and circulated to email subscribers when a new date, time and location is determined.

This is an in person Regular Business meeting with the Public Hearing for the proposed Bylaw Nos. 122 & 123.
The South Pender LTC rescinded Bylaw No. 122, made amendments and then gave the amended Bylaw No. 122 First Reading at the May 6, 2022 LTC meeting. The proposed Bylaw No. 122 (with the amendments made at the May 6th meeting) and blackline version can be found on the South Pender LTC Projects webpage under ‘LUB Amendments Project – 3.
