CRD - Anson Road Dock
The proposal is for the construction of a new public dock facility over Water Lot DL 2027 at the terminus of Anson Road on Horton Bay. The dock will serve as a key facility for Mayne Island residents, emergency access and evacuation, and act as a portal allowing transportation between Mayne and the surrounding islands. The Water Lot is designated in the Marine Development Permit Area (DPA) which has the overall objective to plan and regulate new development in a manner that preserves and protects the long-term physical integrity and ecological values of marine areas. A Development Permit must be obtained by the applicant prior to commencing construction in the DPA.
Mayne Island Housing Society - 375 Village Bay Road
To rezone the lot to allow 1/3 of property to be multi-family rental housing.
CRD (Cotton Park) - 207 Cotton Road
To rezone the Lot from its current residential zoning to a Park zone.
